    FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE BASS CLARINET SECTION:
    This is what i have for the constituition so far. it should look slightly familair seeing as i joined the us constituition and the articles of the confederation written up by me and mina. who knows, maybe we'll end up with some federalist papers as well

    Bass Clarinet Constitution
    Preamble-
    We the members of the Bass Clarinet Section, in order to form a more united section, establish fair judgment of all members, help each member toward better musical ability, defend and aid each member in times of need, secure the individuality of each member of the section to choose his/her own path in the group, and above all to unite the section as a family under the leadership and guidance of the upperclassmen and section leader/s. May these standards be in use now and forever.
    Article 1-
    Section 1-
    The leadership of the section shall be divided between the Section Leader and the upperclassmen.
    Section 2-
    The Section Leader shall hold the supreme leadership of section unless deemed incapable of fair judgment by unanimous decision by the section.
    Section 3
    Clause 1-
    Seniors shall hold leadership privileges under and at the discretion of the section leader.
    Clause 2-
    If no seniors are present or they are deemed incapable of fair leadership, then the juniors or underclassmen agreed upon by the rest of the section shall assume the role of the hence named seniors.
    Clause 3-
    All members of the section shall be treated with the respect owed to do them determined by the respect they show to all other members of the section.
    Article 2-
    Section 1-
    Section Traditions shall be followed at the discretion of the directors and the section leader, unless won by a majority vote in the section.
    Clause 1-
    Every year one new tradition will be made and one will be disposed of unless decided upon by the section as a whole.
    Clause 2-
    All Traditions Shall be recorded, in the Appropriate Section of the Constitution. If a tradition is not recorded it is not official and therefore is not subject to deletion by Article 2, Section 1, Clause 1.
    Section 2-
    Introductory ceremonies for incoming freshman into the section shall be decided upon each year by the upperclassmen of the section. No matter what the introduction at least one shall be used each year unless there are no incoming freshmen.
    Article 3-
    Section 1-
    The unity of the Section is important above all else.
    Clause 1-
    If one member is given laps to run, the entire section shall fall out and run

    Clause 2-
    If one member is given duty roster, the entire section shall stay after to clean up.
    Clause 3-
    The entire section shall do any punishment-involving band that does not involve school-wide punishment.
    Section 2-
    The section shall take water breaks as a whole
    Clause 1-
    If one member of the section is holding the rest of the section back the section shall continue at the most efficient pace possible excluding the detainee.
    Clause 2-
    If the entire band is running back, quickly the Bass Clarinet Section will be back at their positions waiting for the rest of the band to get into position.
    Article 4-
    Section 1-
    The duties that are unique to our section shall be divided among the upperclassmen including the section leader unless agreed upon by the section as a whole.
    Clause 1-
    The decoration of slots, for holiday’s birthdays etc. shall be given as one duty to a volunteer upperclassman.
    Clause 2-
    Bass Clarinet Survival Kit shall be formed and maintained by a volunteer upperclassman.

    Clause 3-
    Academic help shall be organized and distributed by a volunteer upperclassmen to the aid of anyone, member of the section or not, on the basis of passing classes.
    Section 2-
    Bass Clarinet Physical Training (B.C.P.T.) shall be established by a volunteer upperclassman.
    Clause 1-
    It shall be started at the beginning of summer marching camp.
    Clause 2-
    B.C.P.T. is not mandatory but recommended to maintain optimal physical abilities throughout the marching season.
    Clause 3-
    B.C.P.T. will include running and weight training at the discretion of the upperclassman in charge of B.C.P.T.
