the tech theatre train has started again,but now i'm in control (evil laugh). as some of you may now i was a "co"master electrician for the musical Annie Get Your Gun. but suddenly today the other "co"master electrician had to drop her position to take care of her other educational needs. so now i am no longer a "co"master electrician but THE master electrician. don't celebrate yet though...along with the position comes the work. and oh is there alot of work. that's why there were 2 master electricians in the first place, and she also left me with a buttload of work that she pulled out of doing at EXACTLY the right time.

for those of you who don't know what a master electrician is i'll explain it... for every type of performance, be it a concert, play, musical , symphony ANYTHING, there are crews divided up to handle the lights sound, set etc. the master electrician is in charge of the lighting which includes everything from turning up the house lights at the beginning and end of a performance to controlling the laser lights and lighting special effects at a rock concert. in other words anything and everthing that has to do with theatrical lighting for a production
