i spent all of saturday at school, from 10-3 i watched a run through of Annie Get Your Gun, Yes , opening night is two-weeks away and it still takes them 6 hours to run the show, during that time i ended up taking 8 pages worth of notes for lighting, the notes consisted of everything from filling in dark spaces on the stage to telling the actors to tilting their hats up so that the audience can see their faces. Mostly though, the notes were for the 5 spotlights we will be using, Their are approximately 200 spotlight cues for the show (cues, are entrances and effects) tomorrow i'm going to have the running crew come and we're going to go through the show with the spotlights so i can figure out how i am going to divide them. until then adieu.
